Project Angel Tree is a ministry that attempts to build, strengthen, or restore the relationships between people who are currently incarcerated in jail or prison and their children by supplying Christmas gifts for the children from their incarcerated parent in the name of Jesus.
To fulfill its purpose, the ministry requires the people of Faith to select a child from the Angel Tree, then to shop, wrap, and deliver or mail the Christmas gift(s) to the children on behalf of their incarcerated parent and Jesus.
Additionally, Project Angel Tree needs a small team of people to help for a short period of time during late November and early December to help facilitate this wonderful outreach effort.
The Angel Tree is generally available for you to choose a child during the first part of December each year.
If you have questions about Project Angel Tree regarding how you can be involved, please contact Joan Bowser at 231-941-6546.
