On January 20, 2008, Faith Reformed Church kicked off Expanding Faith--A Stewardship Initiative to Create Faith Reformed Church (FRC) on South Airport Road.
FRC has embarked on a journey to be a multi-site ministry, with the yet to be created South Airport Road Campus serving as the "hub" in a three site model.
When the model is fully developed, FRC will intentionally have three worship sites: - FRC on Front Street (original site on the northeast corner of East Front St. and Garfield Avenue; across from the Civic Center).
- FRC at the Crossing (in the Grand Traverse Development and located behind Borders Bookstore and Pet Smart).
- FRC on South Airport Road (new location on the southwest corner of South Airport and LaFranier Roads).
Each of the worship sites, which will undoubtedly take on their own character, will be staffed with a campus pastor (or as we like to call them, "the face with the place"); worship leaders, teams, and band; a full compliment of children's ministries; and hospitality to extend the courtesy of Christ to all who worship at each of our campuses.
The South Airport Road "Hub" Campus, in addition to having those things mentioned above, will also be home for the Church Offices and Staff, mid-week student/youth ministry, largest multi-purpose area, as well as provide us with the ability to better serve our community through an expansion of our externally focused church ideas and community partnerships.
